MScM (Accounting & Finance) Erik Kolehmainen has been appointed as Investment Manager of Metsä Spring. Erik has over 7 years of experience in venture capital, startups, and various finance-related areas. He has previously worked at, e.g., Finnish Industry Investment Ltd (Tesi) and Business Finland. He reports to Metsä Spring’s CEO Niklas von Weymarn.
The appointment is effective February 18, 2019. Metsä Spring Ltd is the venture capital arm of Metsä Group. Metsä Spring invests worldwide in promising young enterprises (startups) that have the potential, in the long run, to develop and strengthen the Metsä Group business ecosystem.
